The Call to Serve

Throughout the New Testament, Scripture makes it clear that God calls us to serve one another and to use our gifts to build up the body of Christ. At First Bapist, there are many ways to serve: children's ministry, youth ministry, praise team, T.A.G. team, community groups, discipleship groups, and more.

"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ."

1 Peter 4:10-11

Youth Ministry

Our youth ministry is always looking for mature Christian adults who desire to invest in a younger generation of believers. We are looking for adults who will lead small groups, disciple students, or even just be a strong Christian presence in their lives. All adults who volunteer to work with minors at First Baptist must pass a background check and complete an online Child Safety Course.

Email nathaniel@fbctown.com if you would like to serve in the youth ministry.

TAG Team

The Tag Team carries out an essential ministry at First Baptist. This team welcomes every person that walks through the doors of First Baptist, they give gifts to first-time guests, and write cards of encouragement to members, among other things.

Email office@fbctown.com if you would like to serve on the TAG Team.
